I was reminded of this concept recently during Stake conference.
Our marriage relationships involve (or at least, should involve) 3 people. Our Heavenly Father, us and our spouse. On the triangle, each of us represents a point. Husband and wife on the bottom and Heavenly Father on the top. The closer we grow individually to God, we will grow closer together as well.
