What did you do last week? Did you up your game?
I did meet Zach outside one day. I bet he would have liked it better if I met him in the car and made out...but the kids were outside too. I'll have to throw on some dance music next time and sneak out or something. :)
Did you go on a date? Holy moly, we went on two. Probably a good thing cause this baby is coming any time and dates won't be out at least for a few weeks and then we'll have company.
I hope you at least told them they were awesome and why!
So, my anniversary is this weekend. With Mother's Day and a baby coming too! Yeah, we've got a lot going on around here.
For our anniversary, we usually go somewhere, which I LOVE. We eat cake...which this year we'll do from home. This is NINE years we're celebrating. Wow!
I'll be honest, I'm not much of a gift giver. I'm actually pretty lousy. Sometimes, seriously, only sometimes do I give Zach a good gift. -even then, I often have to take it back because its the wrong size or something lame. Every once in a good while I do it well. The other thing I need to be honest about is...I'm kind of selfish. I would let Zach spoil me for my whole life and probably still be terrible at gift giving if I didn't have a conscience. Dang conscience. :) So, I'm trying.
This year since things are different and we're having a child so close to our anni, I'm doing a stay at home date night, pre-packaged and put together, so I don't have to do anything. I probably won't want to do anything because that's how I am right after.
What are some apples I'm doing this week?
* writing him a super awesome love letter. he deserves one.
* having a child. (huge apple if you ask me!)
* giving him a gift.
* i'm going to be nice and express gratitude for all he does...a lot.
* asking for things that I need and being specific- that really does make his life easier.
What are some apples I hope he'll do for me?
* write me a nice love letter.
* coach me while having a child.
* make me breakfast in bed...at least on Sunday.
* help the kids write me Mother's day cards
* helping me with a skip in his step so I don't feel bad.
What are you going to do this week? What are you hoping for?
Happy Mother's day to all you lovely Mother's!
