keep it simple

yesterday i pulled up the blog and read my last post...i realized i did 3 out of the 5 apples...

no, not bad and i realize i'm a nice person and have done some nice things that weren't on the list.

this got me thinking.

do you do the suggested apples?  is it just good to read a little ditty on marriage so you appreciate it?  what is helpful?  would it be better if an apple a day was really posted?...you know, daily?  do you put it on your calendar?  maybe i should!

let me know what you think please!

here are the apples for the week!  i'm keepin' it simple!

*stick a note in his lunch...forgot to?  text, call, email & say, "if i put a note in your lunch, this is what it would have said...." :)

*plan a date, get a babysitter so you have to go!

*listen.  don't plan what you will say next, just listen to them talk.

*share something funny.  laugh together!

*touch them when you talk, (not man handle them, just put your hand on their leg or hand or something)

*pray for them, more than you usually do.

*remember your manners.  say please and thank you.  don't burp and fart at the table!

Have a great day!

you know, just keep doing what works for you to be able to keep doing this. it is a huge blessing to me to have it posted even just once a week. i do actually write the apples in my planner that i want to do. how romantic, right? but it reminds me when i look at what i have to get done that day and when i do them, i feel all happy about us and marriage and all that good stuff. then everything else you might find time to add or write about i just see as a bonus happy thought that keeps me going in the right direction. i love it, i think you're doing great! keep up the good work you wonder woman. :)
