Johnny Lingo Jr.

After listening to THIS on the Mormon Channel, I started calling Zach Johnny Lingo Jr..  Sister Bowen, Elder Shayne Bowen's wife, calls her husband that.
It was funny because not too long before this, Zach complimented me in some way & I looked at him and said, "I am more that way because you think I am."  His kindess & belief in me does so much for me than even I realize.  So, when I heard Sister Bowen say that nickname, I thought it would be only fitting to call Zach the same thing.
He is so, so good to me.

After I told Zach that I had a new nickname for him, we watched it on lds.org.
THIS IS THE LINK TO THE MOVIE.  I so enjoyed watching it.  do you remember this?

apples for the week:

* ask them if you can do anything specific for them that day or this week.

* give a good quality wink & a smile.

* it's july.  i like to even think about Christmas in july.  watch a Christmas movie & snuggle on the couch & eat carmel popcorn or something else...like popsicles.

* evaluate.  how fun are you to be married to?  what can you do?  think about things you did when you were dating.  you know, sit next to them in the truck, hold their hand while you're driving...that kinda thing!

*count your blessings & they'll be an extra bounce in your step!

* how long has it been since you've hidden a note for them somewhere?  secret love notes never get old!

* treat him like he's Johnny Lingo or her like she is the Mahonna you've loved all your life.

that interview with elder bowen was so good! It was broadcast several months ago and i've listened several times. Someone interviews Sister Dew in January and that's a very listen as well.
