who's grateful?!

i am totally grateful!

man, it is incredible the difference that gratitude can make!  wow.  it doesn't matter the turmoil.  if you can find something to be grateful for and express it, the world feels lighter.

that is exactly what i am going to focus on this week.

saying what i am grateful for.  writing it down.

expressing the gratitude with a note or a plate of cookies or a phone call.

showing my gratitude by my actions.  getting up in the morning and acting grateful.  for my family.  for my dishes.  for my food.  for my clothes.

how?  by taking care of it.  kissing my family and being kind to them.  doing the dishes.  making yummy food.  wearing my clothes or cleaning them...and putting them away.

last week we started a thankful tree.  that has been a hit.  i really like doing that at night with the kids and Zach.  i think we've done it twice or three times.  but it is fun.  we've had some good laughs.

all of the above things can be done to strengthen any relationship.  lets remember to express gratitude for our spouse though.  do something every day!

how are you expressing your gratitude?
