i think zach and i live in our own little world sometimes. i like it though. our problems are different from yours, i'm sure.
we struggle getting things done (if we didn't decide before hand to do it) when we're together because we really like to talk. it is nice. but, alas, things need to get done.
one apple that we have been working on for a while is letting each other go. do other things outside of our house. zach, go play ball. becca, go out with the girls, craft, shop...anything! :)
i feel like this is so important because both of us come home refreshed and happy.
it stays this way IF the other person welcomes them home and doesn't act (or feel) put out by the other person being gone. this can be hard at times but it makes all the difference.
i say, let them go and let them come home. make it feel like home...a happy place, where they want to be and they won't stay away for long.

this is true! caleb and i were seriously connected at the hip our first 8 years or so. only this last year have we been branching out more. it is fun to have my own thing to do sometimes, but i can definitely work on having a bit better of an attitude when it's his turn to go. i like the idea of trying to make home a place he is eager to return to. your last post was seriously insightful and for the last few days i have been "picturing" what some of the changes i want in our marriage would look like. becca, you are awesome. i am forwarding your blog to my sisters. :)
