it's February!

you know when Zach did Seminary teaching part-time they would say, "watch out for February!"  why?  because the winter starts to feel long, it's cold and nothing really exciting happens in February.  Holidays are over and a lot of people find themselves in a rut.

if that's you, then hopefully some of these ideas can help pull you out of it!  at least for a minute or so. ;)

even if you aren't big on Valentines because it's all "commercialized".  oh well.  just don't buy anything out of the ordinary!

but i say, any opportunity to show you Love, you love em', take it!

i was given this cute idea last year to make some type of heart and hide it someplace that they'd find it and make a game of it where they hide it for you and so on.

a poem that might go...(because i can't find the one they gave to me!)

i found this heart and so you see,
you did too and that makes we.
to spice things up and for something fun,
hide this heart you son of a gun.
when i find it, i'll think of handsome you,
smile and then do the same thing too.

it's late and i'm afraid it's sad to admit, that is pretty much the extent of my poetry skills. :)  if you come up with something better, let me know! :)  i think i'm funny when it's late.

here are some more ideas to fill up your month with some extra love focus.

* love hunts-treasure hunts, clues written on hearts.  can lead them to anything.  food, fun, fantasy.

* write all your notes on hearts.  if that's too cheesy, sign your name next to a heart.  leave the notes in random places.

* invite them to a date through the mail or have a co-worker/neighbor/friend deliver the invite to them.

* make dinner any night, extra special with nice glasses.  (you can buy some at the dollar store)

* make sure their schedule is clear and drop in for a lunch date.
