Oh gee, where has this week gone?! I'm sorry for the lack of apples! I hope you thought of some and have not neglected your spouse because I've neglected this blog! :) kidding, but seriously. :)
I was reminded of some great wisdom the other night while folding clothes. Eliza Doolittle from "My Fair Lady":
"The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not in how she behaves, but how she is treated".
Isn't that a great thing to remember when dealing with those who are closest to us!?
I know for me, sometimes the reason why I rise up is because someone already believes I"m there.
So, talk to your spouse that way, pray to see them the way they can be. THIS is a great talk by President Monson called "See others as they may become."
I was reading in "Starved Stuff" by Matt Townshend and this is one thing he talked about as well. He actually mentions an awesome philosophy I just love. -If your spouse does something that you don't approve of, hurt you, etc., ask yourself "why would someone so kind, loving, honest, noble, hardworking, etc, do something like this?"
I love it because asking any question about someone that starts like that helps us remember who they are and give them the benefit of the doubt. Love it!
Apples on my mind:
* go for a walk together
* send them a note to the office
* pick up something for them that they've been wanting or do something for them they've wanted done.
* where do you usually meet them when they get home? do they come to you? the door? on the porch? wherever it is, bump it up a notch. go to them. go to the porch. go to the driveway. get in his car and make out. :)
* have plans for date night? make some! man, when the weather is nice it is so easy to have great, cheep dates. bike ride. picnic. sunrise breakfast on the porch/patio. frisbee in the park or backyard.
*foot rub. back rub.
* compliment them on their awesomeness!
What Apples will you do? or have you done?

Our anniversary is at the end of the month. We are going to stay over night at the Homestead in Midway and are so excited. Can't wait to hear that the baby is here safely!
