are you a responsible citizen?...and giveaway time!

Are you a responsible citizen?  What can you do to "promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society"?

The other day while reading The Family: A Proclamation to the World it struck me that I am a responsible citizen.  What should I be doing?

Some ideas that came to mind were strengthening my own personal marriage and family and then my extended family.  I can do this by being intent and aware of needs and wants of family members and doing something about it.

What ideas come to your mind?

THIS talk by Elder Christofferson from this last General Conference talks about this a bit.  I'd be interested to know your thoughts.  I LOVED this talk!

This morning I was thinking about this post, looked at my book shelf and saw this book:

This book has made the biggest difference in my marriage and family relationships by far!
So..... I'm going to giveaway TWO copies of this book to TWO of you!

To enter to win a copy:

I often find that I am constantly putting my kids first (like most moms) and my marriage takes a back seat. I've been trying to make it my top priority but lack ideas that can work for me. If this book has helped you then I need to read it. I definitely need a boost right now. You are an inspiration Becca!

Becca, I think if I don't win this book I will definitely have to go buy it if it really helps you. The only way I can think of being a responsible citizen is by standing up for families. Many people out there talk about gays and lesbians and how the world is over populated but it's my job to stand up for the family and to be an example to those who don't understand God's laws. I hope that answers your question
