You just never know.

I stepped out my side door and there on the road were 4 police cars. I had no idea they had been chasing a criminal through, supposedly, my backyard. We are outside a lot...you just never know.

Yesterday, Zach took 3 of our boys ice fishing. Just as they're about to step onto the ice, he's flagged over to a young man who's father had a heart attack just then. Zach helped do chest compressions, with no avail. He was gone... Seriously, you just never know. 

I could go on and I'm sure you could too. Life is short. Life is unpredictable. You really, just never know. 

We hear these things a lot..."make sure that the last words you say are the words you want to live with being your last words" or "how do you want your time with this person or that person to be remembered?"

So, I'm going to add my words with theirs. Let something go. Choose to be kind. Choose to laugh when you can. Choose to be an agreeable person. Choose to see what you do have.  Choose to do something you've been wanting to. Dance. Smile. Be present. Be grateful for this day! 

Even if you or I don't die tomorrow, we only live today once.
