This week, this book arrived at my house and I have to say, I am EXCITED to give it away! Gary and Joy are awesome! They inspire me with their wisdom. This book will be a wonderful addition to your marriage books worth reading again and again!

I am going to give it away to the best commenter for the month! I do have other books but I am not going to promise them to you...yet. :)

Sometimes commenting doesn't come easy so hopefully this will give you the motivation you needed!

I would love this book. My husband and I have never read it, but I really, really want to (and I know he'd read it with me, lol).

caleb is my rock! i am always running running running from one obligation to another and he is the steady, dependable force keeping our life together. he can do anything! dishes, bum changes, laundry, building things for our home. all the while attending school full time. amazing! my apple is that i try to do anything i can to make his life easier. if i see the lawn needs to be mowed i will go and do it so that he will have more time to study. i am WORKING on making sure he gets fed a well-thought-out meal every evening because i know how much he appreciates that. thanks for the super fun giveaway, i love your blog so much!

Getaway, Giveaway!

You probably already know this, but I'll tell you again just in case! I am an advocate for doing "little things" to show love to your spouse. (I know, shocker!) I also advocate the big things...like getaways. Let me just say this, the big things mean more when we give priority to the little things!

So, the apple for the day is: take your love in your arms and tell them how much they mean to you. If you can't take them in your arms then write it down and mail it to them! It doesn't take long. They might not act like they care too much, but they'll think about it later and appreciate that moment and you more.
